Being an entrepreneur is very important to me. I believe in what I'm working to accomplish. I love being my own boss and working for myself. I am the only thing standing in my way and the only thing making things happen.

For me, creativity is essential. The surge of emotion that comes from within after designing the 'perfect' graphic, writing the 'perfect' chapter, or winning another award for having such an 'excellent' Website.... I would have to say is nothing short of addicting. Even more important for me is being taken seriously as a professional - whether it be as a writer, designer, or a virtual assistant.

Enlightenment is key to the success of the Virtual Assistant industry. To this end, I have committed to spreading the word about virtual assistants. I have been featured and/or quoted in the Denver Business Journal; Virtual Summit; Entrepreneur’s Startups Magazine; In Search of Excellence; ParentPreneur Magazine; Business-Seeds.com; The Portal Business Park News (Lead Columnist); and interviewed for presentations to the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP-Toronto), the Wall Street Journal and WorldTalkRadio.com, the Mary Goulet Show: StreetSmart Success.

My monthly newsletter, the RSS Herald, is the official publication for very prestigious organizations, the International Association of Virtual Office Assistants (IAVOA), VACertification.com and A Virtual Solution. This collaboration strives to provide expert advice, timely news and tips to virtual assistants and other virtual workers everywhere. The combined readership is over 2,000 and growing steadily. Articles are regularly accepted on topics of virtual assisting and ecommerce.

In my off hours, I enjoy reading, writing, fishing and genealogy.
